I had to take a few minutes away from my MCA online work at home business to check out Facebook to see if it was Giraffe Day or what!

Well when I did a few clicks to see what was going on, it seems there was a riddle to solve on Facebook . You were given the riddle  and if you did not get it right, you had to change your profile pic to a giraffe for up to a week!.

Ready for the Riddle?
 If the doorbell rang in the middle of the night and was your in-laws—and all you had in the kitchen was a bottle of wine, some cheese, a box of crackers, what would you open first?
 If you know the answer, you cannot post it. You have to private message or email the correct answer otherwise you will ruin the game! If you get it wrong, well the giraffe becomes your profile pic!

I thought it had to be something very obvious otherwise everyone would get it wrong! I will give you the answer in a bit.

When I joined, I only paid the 1st and last month of my Total Security service agreement totaling $39.90. That's not bad at all for protection from an 80+ year old company! Making money on line is hard during football when you have Peyton Manning going back to the stadium in Indianapolis where he played for 14 seasons at Luca Oil Stadium. For 90 seconds the fans went crazy and so he took off his helmet to the fans!

I don't remember enjoying football except when my son Dusti played when he was a child. There was no little league team where we lived out in the country so I started looking for a little league team close to Furman University. We found a team that he could play with and the coaches seemed to like his style so they called him "little big man!" I remember that before each game he would have to be weighed in to make sure he wasn't over the weight limit for his age! During his games I couldn't sit in the bleachers I always ran down the field with my boy and his team!! Then he went on to play football in high school, but since he really didn't seem to enjoy playing it wasn't as exciting! Then we got a call after the Homecoming game to come to the Emergency Room because Dusti had broken his ankle!! So that was where his football days pretty much ended!

My Work From Home Journey!!!

     I am still excited about making money online! It doesn't seem like work because it's fun and I'm making money.  I am learning about using Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Stumble Upon, Adsense, etc. All those names I listed are ways that I make money online! I had never heard of search engine optimization (SEO for short),but I have now! That is very important when you are learning to make money online. It will rank you based on the words that you use!

Preparing For Success

     I have been placing ads, sending emails and doing Face book posts for the last couple of days so I'm anxiously waiting for my results ! I have also watched a few YouTube videos to get  ideas of how to market on FB! Wow if it works like it should, I will get the results that I would like!

      The first day I began placing ads in all the free classified areas that is listed in our back office, I immediately began receiving replies from all over ! I got so excited I could hardly breathe ! I was definitely not expecting that. I know what needs to be done to get the results that I need to get, so I can hardly sleep. I think I slept about 2 hours last night ! I got back up about 1am and began asking to join groups on Face book preparing me for the big day I wanted to have today, by posting in all the work at home groups. I want to caution you to go easy on that because Face book doesn't like all those status updates so close to the last one! Try about 4 status updates at a time and you should be okay.

     It's all about the numbers! How many times have I heard that? If you have any suggestions on how to market MCA or Mary Kay, I would love to see your ideas! Comments welcomed!

The Start of My Dreams...

Well I just signed up for MCA today. After seeing a check for over $9000.00 from a friend of my daughters, I decided to give it a whirl.

This is crazy! I placed an ad yesterday and I immediately began receiving responses to my small, one time ad!  I was setting up my resources and the things I thought I would need to assist me in my new business but I kept getting emails that said " Booyah!!
